Willi Kirenko has been a nurse and NP in our community for 45 years. Her and her husband just matched $100,000 raised while she is in hospice experiencing the care and compassion the hospice provides. Our hospice is run fully on community donations so the nursing students at St. Clair College are raising money and will get together to walk from Sons of Kent to the hospice before looping up Welling street and back down King street. Our goal is to raise $10,000 toward the cost of a cuddle bed that allows family members to lay with their loved ones in hospice. All support is greatly appreciated!
