Marianne Martin
President
Marianne is a second-year RPN student at St. Clair College in Chatham. She moved to Chatham in 2012 with her now-husband and worked as a bartender from 2014 before deciding to pursue a nursing career in 2024, a path her RN sister encouraged greatly. After 16 years away from school, she applied to the SWAC program, first completing her high school diploma and then Biology and Chemistry through the ACE program, crediting both programs' teachers with building her confidence. She joined the Chatham-Kent Nursing Society for its goal of bringing RN and RPN students together in a supportive community, and looks forward to continuing that work this year.
Annika Pardy
Vice President
Annika is a second-year Practical Nursing student at St. Clair College. She grew up in Chatham and, while now living in Windsor, still spends much of her time in the area between school and family. Always interested in healthcare, she took the leap into nursing in 2025 when she applied to the RPN program in Chatham. The staff and her fellow students helped her fall in love with the program and school, inspiring her to join the Nursing Society to give back. She looks forward to working with everyone to continue building a space where students can thrive.
Brandon Marshall
Treasurer
Brandon is the Treasurer for Chatham's Nursing Society at St. Clair College, Thames Campus. He brings a valuable mix of hands-on care and technical skill to the team, drawing on his background as a Registered Practical Nurse (2017) and Orthopedic Technologist (2019) at Windsor Regional Hospital and South Health Hospital in Calgary. He is currently pursuing a BScN through the Collaborative Nursing program, alongside certification as a Perioperative Nurse through ORNAC. His clinical experience spans digital charting integration, post-operative care coordination across multiple surgical specialties, and high-volume fracture clinics. Outside of work, Brandon enjoys hockey, tabletop games, and nature adventures with his partner and husky.
Cat Marder
Secretary
Catherine is a second-year BScN student and Secretary of the Chatham-Kent Nursing Society, as well as a mother to two young kids. She has always wanted to help people, working in Social Service Work and Dental before deciding to become a nurse. Once her daughter was in school and her son could attend daycare, she enrolled in the pre-health program. Catherine joined the Nursing Society in her first year as the 1st-Year BScN Representative and has loved being part of it ever since, looking forward to playing a bigger role this year. Her goal is to build a friendly, helpful nursing community students can rely on for support.
